It's Wrong to Want, Right?

How old were you the first time you expressed a desire and were quickly told no? Did it crush your spirit? Did it make you think that something deep within you was wrong? Your identity, dreams, hopes, and desires – were those dashed?

I often wonder how many times we express what we really want and our core group around us makes us feel less than normal for wanting something.

The truth of it is – it is not wrong to want what you want. It is a call deep from within, unique to your own personality, your own specialness or blueprint. When we squish those down sometimes we commit ourselves to unhappiness.

Embrace what you want, how you want it and when you want it. Yes, you can compromise and collaborate with your friend, partner, lover, child, boss, neighbor, but do not squish down the feeling from within. Do not ignore the call.

I believe that feeling is a call from the divine and from your soul.

It is ok to want what you want. And I can help you bring it forward.
